Please join us on the 3rd of July at our annual Barn Dance, starting at 6p. Filled with food, drink, music and fun, there's something for the whole family! Our teen tent is a great place to hang out, play arcade games and listen to the live band. There's plenty of local organizations to get your fill on ice cream, blooming onions, burgers, corn, brats, and anything else you could imagine. You'll also find beer and wine coolers to quench your thrist! Have a seat and enjoy the evening listening to our live bands.

2011 Theme: GLORY DAYS

Parade begins at the Raymond Town Hall: 2255 S. 76th Street, Franksville, WI 53126
And ends at Raymond School: 2659 S. 76th Street, Franksville, WI 53126

The 4th of July is filled with lots of fun! Bring your chairs and blankets early to get your seats for the parade, they fill up fast! Our parade route starts at the Raymond Town Hall and end at Raymond School.

Streets closed

11:30 - 3:30

There will be NO parking at the Raymond School before the end of the parade. There is access to a parking lot on 5 Mile Road which must be accessed from the west ONLY from 11:30 - 3:00. NO access from Waukesha Road or County Hwy G after 11:30. Handicap parking is available from the parking lot on the south side of 5 Mile Road (FOLLOW SIGNS)
Look for another Parking Lot across from Raymond School on the east side of 76th Street, located 1/2 mile north of Hwy K. Traffic parking in this lot MUST enter before 12:15 pm. When this parking lot across the street from the school is FULL, all other traffic will be rerouted to the 5 Mile Road parking lot. The street closures will reopen after 3p, NO EARLIER.

Children's Parade

Decorate tricycles, bicycles, coaster wagons, your pet or anything available and be a part of the children's parade. No Pre-registration is required. Only non-motorized vehicles are permitted in this section of the parade. The children will follow the Color Gaurd so that they can join their families for the rest of the parade.

IF YOU PLAN TO HAND OUT CANDY, YOU MUST HAVE SOMEONE WALKING WITH THE CANDY, HANDING IT OUT. THERE IS NO THROWING CANDY FROM FLOATS. WE DO NOT WANT ANY INJURIES ON THIS JOYOUS DAY.

FIREWORKS

9:30pm

  • Bring your lawn chairs, blankets & bug spray. You may set up your area after the parade.
  • Leave your fireworks at home since the grounds are patrolled by a security force and the Racine County Sheriffs Department.
  • PLEASE, no glass or charcoal grills on the festival grounds!!!
  • Drive responsibly, as there are many children enjoying the activities.

  • How do I HELP make Raymond 3rd and 4th happen?
    • Visit our "Get Involved" page or contact Tammy @ tbaumann@rcboonline.org and she will direct you in the right direction!
  • How do I enter my PIE in the contest/auction?
    • Bring your homemade pies to the beer tent between 10:00am and 11:00am. Road will be closed at 11:30am. All pies should be in disposable tins. Winners will be announced during the parade and the pies will be auctioned off at 4:00pm. All questions regarding the pie auction contest should be directed to Marsha at 262-835-1137. Judging begins at Noon.
