The Raymond Community and Business Organization (RCBO) offers an average of FOUR scholarships to Town of Raymond high school seniors who plan to enroll in an accredited technical school or college.

AWARD: Three (3) $500.00 General Scholarships & One (1) $500.00 Fine Arts Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Nominee must:

  • Be a high school senior residing in the Town of Raymond, Racine County, Wisconsin.
  • Have a pending application into an accredited technical school or college in the year after high school graduation.
  • Exhibit scholastic achievement.
  • Have been involved in community, church, and/or high school extracurricular activities, with particular attention given to Community and Church volunteering.
  • Have demonstrated good leadership qualities.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

  • Complete all three pages of this application. Attach additional pages if needed.
  • Write a brief essay on: “Why I am applying for this scholarship, my reasons for going to college, my financial needs, and my future plans.”
  • Attach a picture to the application, suitable for possible publication (in the event you are chosen for this scholarship).
  • Attach a transcript of your high school credits.
  • Submit two (2) reference letters stating qualifications for this scholarship from non-relatives. One reference must be from your school, i.e. teacher or counselor.
  • Submit the application and attachments to the Scholarship Chairperson.
  • Applications that are not totally complete will be eliminated.
